Chaine Du Lac
WINDERMERE -- Chaine Du Lac Interior and lakefront estates located on Butler Chain of Lakes in Windermere. All located within an upscale community. Community home sites are a minimum of ½ acre lots. All homes are custom and built by some of Orlando’s most recognized builders. You will proud to call this neighborhood home. The exclusive Chaine du Lac community in Windermere is getting a new neighbor -- an upscale development some are comparing to homes of ritzy Isleworth. A Maitland based contractor has been hired to handle civil engineering, permitting and construction administration services for an 80-lot subdivision on West Lake Butler Boulevard. The project, dubbed The Gardens at Village of Windermere, is being developed by Mere Holding and Orlando-based Veranda Partners LLC. In fact, this project is Phase 2 of the existing Chaine du Lac gated community, which now has just 25 to 30 homes, says John Smogor, assistant manager of Orange County's planning division. Higher-end homes in that premiere community range from $1 million to $10 million-plus, with 7,000-32,000 square feet -- the larger of which is Pearlman's former property that combines two lots. That compares with prestigious Isleworth, where current home listings start at about $1.5 million and go up to $15 million-plus, while home sizes range from 2,800-37,000 square feet. A sign advertising The Gardens is visible, and Chaine du Lac residents will enjoy a new entryway which is being built and the existing entrance could become a service entrance. The new entrance is expected to be manned around the clock. People are saying it's going to be nicer than Isleworth. The involvement of Veranda Partners -- namely, partner Kevin Azzouz -- assures The Gardens will be an outstanding project.
